At this point, we've got most of the features on iScribed worked out and done. We'll be adding more features as we move forward, but for the most part, we're there. We hit 40 members over the last week and we're hoping that people will begin to take a "risk" and post some creative work, invite their friends to view and critique it and invite others to join.
I think there is a bit of psychological, emotional block that people have to break through before they "enable" themselves to write and submit some work. I think that most people don't really think themselves as being particularly "creative", and so they don't know where to start and are also self conscious about the process.
When I first started to write, I felt this way too. It takes a bit of trusting yourself and also, finally, just saing "who cares" to get the first work out there.
So, give it a try. Once you finish, it's a rush to look back at your work, read other peoples' thoughts on what you've written and to know that on a certain level, you've sparked some thought.
