We've got so many great "embarrassing moment" stories after Peggy Myers started it off with her hilariously mortifying Know who is on the Phone story, that we decided to start a new book project entitled: Open Mouth, Insert Foot: Tales of Saying the Wrong Thing at the Wrong Time. At this point, we've got most of the features on iScribed worked out and done. We'll be adding more features as we move forward, but for the most part, we're there. We hit 40 members over the last week and we're hoping that people will begin to take a "risk" and post some creative work, invite their friends to view and critique it and invite others to join. Good news to announce today...we just added Ratings to the Stories section of iScribed. With this feature, community members will be able to vote on the Stories they review and we'll be able to determine the best Stories submitted. At this point, we're just about ready to soft launch to friends and family. Continue

Things are beginning to come together here on iScribed. We've figured out much of the technology platform and have been able to quickly customize much of what the user (you) experience when you come to the Community. We're very close to adding ratings to the stories that people post and, once we have that function, we'll be ready to move to a soft launch (invitation only).

We're also working on forming a relationship with a printing company, so that we'll be able to offer books for sale… Continue

Still just trying to figure out whether this platform is flexible enough to incorporate all the features that Tim and I have been talking through. So far,we've had pretty good luck with it but are struggling with adding ratings to Stories. I connected with a developer in New Zealand who says that he may be able to lend a hand. Check back here to see whether we get it done. We're almost ready to launch in beta to our friends and family.
