the layers
tainting yellow pale

Colourless palette
surface
scars unveiled
Inherited life left
unwanted
leaving nothing but air

Black diamond eyes
beneath
incisioned lids
All that tell
truth
in a face of mist

A culture so rich
though
few are proud
The Land of Dreams
whispers
desperatly loud
